Learn the basic, portable and ancient craft of drop spindle spinning. In this workshop you'll learn the techniques of using a drop spindle by drawing out the fibres and twisting it to make your own one-ply hand spun yarn. No spinning experience necessary and kids are welcome!

The session consists of one 4 hour lesson.

Session will be Saturday, April 22, 2017: 10:00 AM through 2:00 PM

Cost: Fibre is included in the cost of the class. You may purchase a drop spindle at Birkeland Bros. Wool if you do not already own one.
