A young breed from New Zealand created by interbreeding Border Leicester and Corriedale sheep. Considered a longwool, Borderdale has a nice lustre and is popular to spin for heavy weight apparel. Also felts well, making a great multi-purpose fibre!

May contain vegetable matter.

30-35μ thick; 100-150mm staple

Pictured batt is approximately 4 lbs (1.8 kg) and measures 3 feet wide by 6 feet long (91x183 cm) unrolled.
