Borderdale Batt
Borderdale sheep are a young breed from New Zealand created by interbreeding Border Leicester and Corriedale sheep. Considered a longwool, Borderdale has a nice lustre and is popular to spin for heavy weight apparel.
Each fibre is 30-35μ thick, with a 100-150mm staple length.
Price is per 1 lb (454 g).
All batts contain some vegetable matter.
