Welcome to the magical world of needle felting (also known as dry felting). This workshop will be taught by the famous wool artist Carol Fennell.
This is a one day workshop for both beginner and advanced needle felters of all ages!

Kids Felting Class for either: Ages 5 to 8 - or - Ages 8 to 12. One two-hour session.
Quincey Cable teaches the class. She is a wool artist with twenty years of experience teaching children from preschool to age 12.

This is an absolute beginner's class. No experience required. Learn how to knit.
You will make a felted (fulled) hat and/or handbag with Birkelands master knitter Pearl Chow!
Learn the basics of knit and purl, plus figure 8 cast on; purled I-Cord bind off; and Grafting. The bags have no seams!

If you are a fast knitter you have the option of making thinner socks. If not it is recommended that you make the thicker socks so that you can complete your project.
